Happy Classes
Our small set of rules
Welcome to Little Music Makers! We are happy that you are on board. Here is some important information for a good course experience.
The ingredients for a successful class
Before we start
Please be there 5–10 minutes before the class starts
Please try to arrive 5–10 minutes before the class begins (if possible not earlier), so that we can all start together.
Illness
If you or your child is sick, please do not come to class so as not to infect the other participants.
Siblings
Please bring siblings who are not enrolled in the course only in case of emergency. The first time participation is for free. After that we charge an amount of 10 € per lesson.
Clothing
Please bring slipper socks since we cannot wear shoes in most of our classrooms.
Food, drinks and toys
Food is not allowed in the classrooms, drinking is possible. Please also do not bring toys into the classroom.
For a nice music lesson
Focus on your own participation
We would kindly like to ask you to actively participate during the lessons. Feel free to sing and dance along. It does not matter whether you are a good singer. The children will imitate the grown-ups.
Talking during class
Please refrain from talking during the class so that we can create a purely musical atmosphere.
Please watch your children
Please make sure that your children do not run around the course room. If they are walking around, please walk behind your child and bring them back into the circle.
Running
If your child is running, please stop him/her. Running during class is very distracting, it distracts and motivates other children to run as well, and there is a risk of injury.
Crying/screaming
If your child cries or screams for more than just an instant, please leave the room briefly. Experience has shown that children calm down more easily outside the classroom.
What else? Other important tips for you
Mobile phones, filming and taking pictures
Please switch your cell phone to flight mode in the classroom in order not to disturb the lesson. For reasons of data protection, we would also like to ask to refrain from filming or taking pictures during the course.
Class material/downloads
We recommend integrating our CDs and songbooks into your daily routine with your child. The songs of the class are also available via digital download.
